    I like this idea, and I hope that it will be implemented once 1.15 rolls around! Another upside would be that Donor Worlds would not have to reset! They would simply stay in 1.14, although any new content would not be able to be brought over.

    Any chance at expanding the admin store with the update? The current store seems... well, lacking by comparison to the old world set up. Very few sell options for early game grinding.

    I wasn't here when it all changed, so I'm not sure if there was a reason behind it or just wasn't out back or what, but I wouldn't mind some more trash sell options.

    I do agree with Finn except for not having new stuff because that is what ergo is not wanting by us not updating. I think the donate worlds shouldn’t reset but if we wanted to update to the new world we could always do our own reset feature which is a command we have

    We will be releasing later today and I took the time to read through most of your concerns/questions. I believe I can answer at least a few of them, so you know what you can expect on the new 1.14 lothar.

    • Before 1.14 was released, staff have already been working on getting things ready for the reset of 1.14, by coming up with ideas on how to provide the most enjoyable experience and ways to implement as many suggestions as we possibly can. So yes, staff has had more than a measly 4 days notice.
    • It's nice to see that you keep up to date on the latest developments regarding the minecraft patches, but one thing to note is that we're not running a single player vanilla minecraft game. In order to be able to run a multiplayer minecraft server we need to resort to using a more optimized version of the minecraft-server.jar in order to deal with a multitude of people generating chunks for instance. Chunk generation in 1.14 and 1.14.1 is a lot slower than chunk generation in 1.13.2 in general.
    • For this update private worlds will reset, for any future resets, we will definitely see if we can find a fair and balanced way to transfer your private worlds.

    • We want to provide the players with a fresh and up to date minecraft experience. Regarding the fact that we updated to 1.13.2 extremely late, we would like to get back to being able to also provide a fresh experience when future updates of minecraft release. In order to do so, we can't wait too long when updating to 1.14. By updating so early, we hope to be able to keep this world longer.

    • Due to a slight change of plans we will not be able to release with quests straight from the start, they will be implemented as soon as they can be. But, in order to compensate for that we will be releasing with an adminshop.
    • We will not be adding silk spawners or uncapped anvil upgrades.
    • To add an actual auctionhouse feature, where you're able to bid on items is definitely something we can look into.
    • We will have a warphall where you will be able to warp to all sorts of biomes.
    • We will start off with a small pvp arena at spawn, but we will be adding more in the future.
    • Claimblocks will reset, people that have donated for claimblocks will receive them.

    • Fly will remain disabled in the main nether world. We want to encourage a more adventurous gameplay experience in the nether and end. The nether mineworld can be used to fly around in and gather resources with ease.

    • We will have an adminshop, and it will contain a lot more items compared to the current adminshop.
    This should answer quite a few questions and of course development won't stop after the release. We'll continue adjusting and improving things to best meet everyone's wishes and desires.

    after seeing all of this I completly agree with everything on what kristof said and I am super hyped for this reset because after seeing how when private worlds were glitched after they came back it seemed like the staff knew what they by fixing those glitches so I honestly can't wait :D

    The Server might only be open to Staff right now, so that they can perform maintenance without any disruptions.

    None of my points about flying in the Nether were addressed, all I got was "Here's why "No." again.". That's always fun.

    The point of more adventurous gameplay isn't helpful, because now I'm less likely to actually go to the Nether. I imagine a lot of other people are also going to be spending less time there. You've not increased adventurous gameplay, you've destroyed it.

    I actually think turning flying off in the nether is kinda good because it makes thing more valuable like blaze rods and wither skeleton skulls. Same thing with the end because I remember when fly was off in the end, everything felt more valuable there which is like it should be, same thing for the nether

    I agree. I was wanting to create a Nether Base for the Reset, but without Fly? Forget it!! I don't want to create my entire base of operations without Fly- Building just isn't fun without it, and I'm never going to risk the Nether without Fly.
    I could understand disabling Fly in the Mineworld so that the playing field is more equalized there, but if you want to encourage settlements in the main Nether, please do us all a favor and enable Fly there.



    I am of the opinion that Fly should be on in the main Nether and off in the Mineworld. Resources in the main Nether will be quickly depleted (At least around central Portals), rendering it a poor place to gather valuables- regardless if you have Fly or not. However, the Mineworld will consistently reset- always overflowing with quartz, Netehrbrick, Soulsand and more. And if Fly is removed from this world, it would be a level playing field- soon everyone would have to turn to the Mineworld for those fiery valuables.

    I should also note that the acquisition of Nether mob drops should not be a problem. Because builds are now protected in this dimension, one can build a mob farm without fear!

    You do you make solid points but comparing the nether with fly and without fly I notice that without fly there are more resources to be used but when fly was on you had to go thousands of blocks to even find a small load of quartz.
    If fly was on in the main nether but not the miner’s one then wouldn’t people rather gather resources in the main world were they can fly than the one they can’t?

    They will of course gather resources where they have Fly, but my main point is that those resources will soon run out. Players will have to go out farther and farther, and it would eventually become much simpler to use the MineWorld instead.

    I actually didn't have a problem searching for stuff. Before the reset I got netherwart and blazerod with just under 4 minutes of flying a couple hundred blocks. The area of the Nether I was flying through showed small signs of other players but nothing was fully depleted and all that. I really don't think resource depletion of the Nether is all that big a deal, but Kris said something about after a week fly and the Nether... something. Reconsidered? Looked into? I forget. He said it in game. All I know is I'm going to wait a while before I bring it up somewhere again.
