Rules/Requirements
 
 
Along with following the forum and server rules, which you can find /HERE/, there are a few other rules that you need to follow when applying for a position on the team.
 
-Do not create polls on your application. Other players can show their support by liking your post.
 
-You must have donated at least $1 to the server. These donations can be from anything on our BuyCraft page. We have this requirement as it not only shows the applicant is interested in supporting the server, but also help bar any of those who wish to become staff just to cause trouble or leave suddenly.
 
-You need a registered account to post an application. As a staff member, you will need to have a registered forum account and use the forums fairly regularly. Applications made under a guest account will be deleted, no exceptions. [If you are having difficulty creating your account, contact an Admin or forum staff member].
 
-Do not ask staff to accept your application or ask about your app’s status. You are welcome to ask for pointers on how improve your application, but asking staff to read or approve of your application will result in one warning before an automatic denial is given. If there's no prefix on the application, it is still active and under consideration. The speed of which applications are processed depends if we are currently hiring or not, so it may be awhile before you receive a response!
 
-Don't put on an act around staff. We want you to continue acting how you are normally so we can evaluate you properly. We will notice if there is a disconnect, just be yourself!
 
-Do not lie or omit information on your application. Any punishments you have received in the past should be mentioned, such as: jails, bans, warnings, etc. If you own a server or staff on another server as well, please mention that as well. We appreciate honesty and there is no shame in having had a less-than-stellar past.
 
-Being able to use Slack is required while Teamspeak is recommended. To learn more about them, follow the links under required questions. Teamspeak is essentially another version of Skype and Slack is a lot like Discord. We use Teamspeak for occasional staff meetings, so if you wish to attend them make sure you can use it. You do not have to have accounts for either before your application is accepted, but you must be sure that you are allowed to and able to use slack if you apply.You will get the necessary info for both when you become a staff member.
 
-You must have a 30 day gap between multiple applications. Your app(s) will be auto-denied/closed if you do the following:
  • You have been accepted into our community [in any position] and you apply for another position in less than 30 days from being accepted.
  • You have been denied from any position and told to wait 30 days before reapplying.
  • You have a pending application out [apply only for one team at a given time!]

Role(s) Available:
 
T-Helper
 
All staff that apply will start as a T-Helper. Applying for this position requires no work portfolio, though past experience staffing servers are helpful to include. As a T-Helper, you will help monitor chat, investigate griefs, explain how the server works to new players, answer questions and familiarize yourself with the staff team.

 Staff Ranking System
 
 
T-Helper – [Trainee or Training Helper] This rank is what new staff member start as. Generally this role spans about a two-week time period, after which the Trainee will be evaluated and either be promoted or removed from the team. T-Helper’s monitor chat, help new players, investigate griefs, and help punish trouble makers.
 
Helper – Once T-Helpers pass their trial, they are promoted to full time Helper. After promotion, Helpers are given more access to slack channels and permissions. Helper’s monitor chat, help new players, investigate griefs, and help punish trouble makers.
 
C-Mod – [Chat Mod] When a Helper is promoted, they become C-Mods. Much like T-Helper, this position spans a time period of about two-weeks before evaluation. This is a trial period where C-Mods are taught Mod level commands and permissions. C-Mod's monitor chat, ban trouble makers and repair griefs.
 
Mod – [Moderator] Once a C-Mod complete’s their trial successfully, they will be promoted to Moderator. Moderators have more access to different aspects of the staff team and permissions. Moderators monitor chat, ban trouble makers, repair griefs, and may assist with donation perks.
 
Admin – This rank is given to very few individuals depending on the need for them. Administrators handle setting ranks, fixing bugs, server developments, and managing different aspects of the team.

Suggested Formatting
 
 
We believe that putting effort into your own application is a sign of maturity and dedication. Please reference these tips when posting your application, if required questions are missing your application will be considered incomplete and will not be accepted.
 
-Bold your questions, leave answer unformatted.
 
-Don’t make your text too large.
 
-Use color to emphasize important phrases, but don’t overuse.
 
-Be detailed in your answers.
 
-Take the application seriously, don't say things like "This will probably get denied".
 
-Tell the full truth, do not be deceptive.
